Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the milk.
- Stir gently until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently a few times.
- Roll out to about 1 inch thick and cut out biscuits with a round cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
