Delightful sourdough knots filled with Nutella, perfect for sharing or enjoying alone.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Mix flour, sourdough starter, sugar, milk, melted butter, and salt in a bowl until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread Nutella over the top.
- Fold the dough and cut into strips.
- Twist each strip to form knots and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Allow knots to rise for another 15 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best experience. Dust with powdered sugar for an added touch.
