Description

Learn how to make delicious Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs with this easy recipe. Perfect for a hearty and comforting meal any day of the week!

Ingredients

  • – 1 bag (737 g) frozen meatballs (about 30-35 meatballs)
  • – 2 cups (480 ml) beef broth
  • – 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • – 1 packet onion soup mix
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) ketchup
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • – 2 tablespoons (16 g) cornstarch
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cold water

Instructions

  1. Coat the inside of the slow cooker with a nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the beef broth, brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour this mixture over the meatballs and mix well.
  4. Secure the lid and set the slow cooker to cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
  5. Once the cooking time is complete, combine the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl using a fork. Add this mixture to the slow cooker and let it cook for another 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs with either egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Add chopped parsley on top for garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Consider using homemade beef broth for a more robust flavor.
  • Enhance the gravy with a splash of substitute for added depth.
  • To achieve greater tenderness, add a tablespoon of olive oil to the meatball mixture before cooking.
