Description

A comforting and hearty slow-cooked beef dish with tender chuck roast, vegetables, and rich broth that brings families together.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper, then place it on top of the onions.
  3. Add the potatoes and carrots around the roast.
  4. In a bowl, mix the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Once cooked, remove the beef and slice it, then serve with the vegetables.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider searing the beef before placing it in the slow cooker. Customize vegetables to your preference.
