Description

A tender and flavorful slow-cooked beef brisket, perfect for gatherings and family meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the brisket on all sides until browned.
  2. In a slow cooker, layer the sliced onions at the bottom. Place the brisket on top of the onions.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the garlic, beef broth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the brisket.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
  5. Remove the brisket and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with the sauce from the slow cooker.

Notes

Consider marinating the meat overnight for additional flavor. You can also add vegetables like carrots or potatoes to the slow cooker.
