Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the sourdough starter, milk, melted butter, sugar, salt, and egg.
  2. Gradually add the flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter on top.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30-60 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
