Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the sourdough starter, milk, melted butter, sugar, salt, and egg.
- Gradually add the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter on top.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30-60 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
