Description

A comforting and flavorful shrimp fried rice dish perfect for any meal, combining shrimp, vegetables, and fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push shrimp to the side and add beaten eggs, scrambling until cooked.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and cooked rice, stirring to combine.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and stir until everything is well mixed and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Using day-old rice improves the texture. Consider adding sesame oil for extra flavor.
