Ingredients
- 5 (8 ounce (227 g)) packages tri-color pasta
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 pound (454 g) imitation crabmeat
- 1 cup (240 ml) froz en green peas
- 1 cup (240 ml) mayonnaise
- 5 tablespoon (23 ml) s white sugar
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s white vinegar
- 3 tablespoon (45 ml) s milk
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 25 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
Instructions
- Start by bringing a big pot of water to a boil, adding a pinch of salt. Once boiling, put in the pasta and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it’s firm to the bite. Cool it down by rinsing it under cold water, and then drain.
- While the pasta is cooking, cut the celery and imitation crabmeat into small pieces. Use hot water to thaw the peas.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, milk, salt, and pepper by whisking them together. Add the cooled pasta, chopped celery, and crabmeat, then mix everything until it’s evenly coated. Taste and adjust the salt, sugar, or mayonnaise as needed. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
