Description

Quick and delicious savory steak bites made from tender stew meat, perfect for sharing and savoring.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb stew meat (beef), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme), chopped for garnish
  • Splash Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches.
  2. Combine the stew meat with soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated meat in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  4. Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Then, reduce heat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the cooked steak bites on a platter, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the steak for a longer time and experimenting with different herbs and seasonings.
