- 2 cups yellow onions, thinly sliced

- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese (or melting cheese of choice)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the thinly sliced onions, stirring gently to coat them.
- Cook the onions for about 10-15 minutes until they caramelize and turn golden brown.
- Pour in the beef broth and vinegar, allowing the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh thyme leaves.
