Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring roasted jalapenos for an explosion of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or cream cheese recommended)
  • 2-3 roasted jalapenos, sliced
  • Butter for spreading
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer with sliced cheese and roasted jalapenos.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes
