Description
A simple and flavorful coconut rice made using a rice cooker, combining fluffy jasmine rice with rich coconut milk for an indulgent side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups white jasmine rice
- 1 (14 oz) can coconut milk (full fat)
- 1 and 1/4 cups water
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions
- Rinse the rice 2-3 times until the water is nearly clear. Drain.
- Add all of the ingredients to a rice cooker and stir to combine.
- Turn the rice cooker to on and allow it to cook for the full cycle.
- When done, fluff and serve.
Notes
Experiment with spices like cardamom or a pinch of cinnamon for added flavor. Consider adding vegetables for a more balanced meal.
