Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- Spread brown sugar and sprinkle with nuts (if desired) on the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into equal sections.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
