A delightful twist on traditional pizza that combines creamy cottage cheese with mozzarella and your favorite pizza toppings, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Combine the cottage cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, eggs, oregano, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl and mix until well blended.
- Spread a layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon half of the cottage cheese mixture over the sauce, smoothing it out evenly.
- Sprinkle half of your desired pizza toppings over this mixture.
- Pour another layer of pasta sauce on top, followed by the remaining cottage cheese mixture.
- Add the remaining toppings and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Personalize with various toppings and consider adding Parmesan for extra flavor.
