Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 Cup White Sugar
- 2/3 Cup 2% Milk
- 1 Package Jell-O Pistachio Pudding Mix
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Pistachios
- 1 Cup Icing Sugar
- 2 Tbsp 2% Milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, eggs, and unsalted butter until smooth.
- Add milk, pistachio pudding mix, baking powder, and salt; mix until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- For icing, mix icing sugar and 2 tbsp of milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating almond extract. Top with more chopped pistachios before baking for extra crunch.
