Description

Indulge in the ultimate game-day snack with our irresistible Philly Cheesesteak Nachos recipe. Learn how to make this cheesy, savory dish today!

Ingredients

  • – 1 lb. (454 g) beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • – salt and pepper to taste
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) sliced green pepper (about 1 green pepper)
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) sliced yellow pepper (about 1 yellow pepper)
  • – 1 1.25 lb (567 g) waffle cut fries, cooked according to instructions
  • – 2 cups (200 g) shredded white cheese

Instructions

  1. Warm the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook, stirring, until it is browned; season with salt and pepper as desired. Remove the cooked beef and place it on a plate; set it aside. Place the sliced green and yellow peppers into the pan and cook until they are slightly softened; move them to the plate with the beef to cool for a moment.
  2. Preheat your oven to 385 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Prepare the nachos by layering waffle fries, shredded white cheese, cooked beef, and peppers in an oven-safe skillet. Serve with sliced green onions on top.

Notes

  • Marinate beef slices in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for enhanced flavor.
  • Use a combination of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and pepper jack cheeses for a more intricate taste.
  • Top nachos with sour cream or guacamole for a creamy contrast to the savory ingredients.
