Ingredients
- 1 lb thin-sliced bacon
- 1.5 sleeves Club crackers
- 8 oz wedge of fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place a cooling rack on top.
- Thinly slice the Parmesan cheese to match the size of the Club crackers.
- Slice the bacon into quarters to match the size of the crackers.
- Assemble each cracker on the cooling rack: place one cracker, add a slice of Parmesan, top with a piece of bacon, and sprinkle with brown sugar and red pepper flakes.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes, checking around the 30-minute mark to ensure they don’t burn.
- Once the bacon is crispy and the edges of the crackers are golden brown, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added sweetness, consider drizzling honey over the crackers before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
