A simple and delicious one-pan pumpkin dump cake that captures the essence of autumn with its warm flavors and comforting texture.
Ingredients
- 1 box of pumpkin cake mix
- 1 can (15 oz) of pumpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup of crumb topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, water, vegetable oil, and cinnamon. Mix until well blended.
- Gradually add the pumpkin cake mix to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan, spreading it evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle walnuts or pecans over the top.
- Add the crumb topping on top for added sweetness and texture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
