Description

A simple and delicious one-pan pumpkin dump cake that captures the essence of autumn with its warm flavors and comforting texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of pumpkin cake mix
  • 1 can (15 oz) of pumpkin puree
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of crumb topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, water, vegetable oil, and cinnamon. Mix until well blended.
  3. Gradually add the pumpkin cake mix to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. If desired, sprinkle walnuts or pecans over the top.
  6. Add the crumb topping on top for added sweetness and texture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider toasting the nuts before adding them on top. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a delightful treat.
