Description

Learn how to make delicious One-Pan Lemon Garlic Shrimp with this easy recipe. Perfect for a quick and flavorful seafood dinner.

Ingredients

  • – 454g (1 pound) large or jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • – 2.5mL (1/2 teaspoon) salt
  • – 2.5mL (1/2 teaspoon) freshly ground black pepper
  • – 2.5mL (1/2 teaspoon) paprika
  • – 30g (2 tablespoons) beef butter
  • – 15mL (1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
  • – 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • – 1.25mL (1/4 teaspoon) crushed red pepper
  • – 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • – 30g (2 tablespoons) chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Dry the shrimp with a paper towel and coat them evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, warm the butter and oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Place the shrimp in the skillet, arranging them in a single layer if possible. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they are fully cooked and opaque, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Take the skillet off the heat, then incorporate the lemon zest and juice. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve right away.

Notes

  • Dry the shrimp thoroughly before seasoning for a better sear.
  • Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure even cooking.
  • Incorporate lemon zest for a burst of fresh citrus flavor.
