- – 2.5mL (1/2 teaspoon) paprika
- – 30g (2 tablespoons) beef butter
- – 15mL (1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
- – 4 cloves garlic, minced
- – 1.25mL (1/4 teaspoon) crushed red pepper
- – 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- – 30g (2 tablespoons) chopped parsley
Instructions
- Dry the shrimp with a paper towel and coat them evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, warm the butter and oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Place the shrimp in the skillet, arranging them in a single layer if possible. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they are fully cooked and opaque, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Take the skillet off the heat, then incorporate the lemon zest and juice. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve right away.
