Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/2 cup ketchup, onion, bell pepper, eggs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for a glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
