Description

A homemade version of the classic McFlurry, using easily accessible ingredients to create a creamy and customizable dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons Junket vanilla ice cream mix
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup mix-in of choice (e.g., mini M&Ms)
  • Optional garnishes

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl or a large liquid measuring cup, combine the milk and Junket ice cream mix.
  2. Whisk the mixture until the ice cream mix fully dissolves.
  3. Add the heavy cream, stirring gently until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, being careful not to exceed the max fill line.
  5. Secure the lid on the pint and place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
  6. Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and carefully take off the lid.
  7. Insert the container into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and secure the outer bowl lid.
  8. Lock the bowl apparatus into the Ninja Creami and press the Ice Cream button.
  9. If the ice cream appears crumbly, return it to the machine and use the Re-spin button.
  10. Create a circular well in the center of the ice cream and add your chosen mix-in.
  11. Press the Mix-in button to incorporate the ingredients fully.
  12. Serve decorated with additional pieces of your mix-in, if desired.

Notes

Experiment with different mix-ins like chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or toasted nuts for a personalized touch.
