Delicious and flaky croissant rolls stuffed with gooey mozzarella and savory pepperoni, perfect for snacks or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 package croissant dough
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 ounces pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Unroll the package of croissant dough and separate into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
- Place the shredded mozzarella cheese in a small bowl and set aside.
- Cut the pepperoni slices in half to create smaller pieces for the dough triangles.
- Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil until combined.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over each croissant dough triangle.
- Place a few pieces of pepperoni at the wide end of each triangle.
- Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni slices.
- Roll up each dough triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet with space between each one.
- Brush the remaining butter mixture over the tops of the croissants.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Let the croissants cool for a few minutes before serving.
