Description

Delicious and flaky croissant rolls stuffed with gooey mozzarella and savory pepperoni, perfect for snacks or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package croissant dough
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unroll the package of croissant dough and separate into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. Place the shredded mozzarella cheese in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Cut the pepperoni slices in half to create smaller pieces for the dough triangles.
  5. Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil until combined.
  6. Brush the butter mixture generously over each croissant dough triangle.
  7. Place a few pieces of pepperoni at the wide end of each triangle.
  8. Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni slices.
  9. Roll up each dough triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  10. Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet with space between each one.
  11. Brush the remaining butter mixture over the tops of the croissants.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  13. Let the croissants cool for a few minutes before serving.

For variations, consider adding different cheeses or spices for added flavor!
