- 1 cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Place the 1 cup of unsalted butter and chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals until melted.
- Whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar in a separate bowl using an electric mixer until well combined.
- Combine the cooled chocolate mixture with the egg and sugar mixture, blending until fully mixed.
- Add in the baking powder, salt, and flour, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting.
- Make the frosting by mixing softened butter, powdered sugar, mint extract, and milk until creamy, adding coloring as desired.
