Description

Delightful mini pizza pot pies filled with gooey mozzarella, zesty pizza sauce, and savory toppings, perfect for gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Nonstick spray or melted butter (for greasing)
  • 6 small aluminum muffin tins or ramekins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pie crust and cut out circles larger than the openings of your muffin tin.
  3. Press the dough circles into the greased tins, shaping them into cups.
  4. Add 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of pizza sauce to each crust.
  5. Layer each cup with mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, oregano, and garlic powder.
  6. If there’s room, add more cheese and other toppings.
  7. Cut smaller dough circles to cover each pie, sealing the edges with a fork.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a beautiful golden finish.
  9. Optionally, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  11. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with toppings or make them vegetarian by adding vegetables like diced bell peppers or olives.
