A creamy and crunchy casserole featuring ground turkey, pasta, and savory ranch seasoning, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 ounces small shelled pasta
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup cottage cheese (or whole milk ricotta cheese)
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers (crumbled)
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a frying pan, brown the ground turkey and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, milk, and ranch seasoning. Taste to adjust seasoning.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- While the noodles boil, crush the Ritz crackers and mix them with melted butter.
- Once the noodles are drained, mix them with the ground turkey and creamy sauce.
- Add half the buttered Ritz crackers to the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread the noodle and turkey mixture over the crackers and then top with the remaining buttered crackers.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding shredded cheese or vegetables like spinach or bell peppers to the mixture.
