- 8 slices of bacon (cut in half)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces and place in a bowl.
- Wrap each chicken piece with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well combined.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the bacon-wrapped chicken bites on the baking sheet and brush generously with the maple glaze.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy. Brush with remaining glaze and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken pieces in maple glaze for an hour before wrapping in bacon. Use thick-cut bacon for better texture.
