Description

A delightful combination of maple syrup and crispy bacon wrapped around tender carrots, creating a mouthwatering side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh carrots, cut to less than half an inch thick
  • 1 pound thinly sliced bacon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap each carrot snugly with bacon starting from the thick end.
  3. Arrange the wrapped carrots on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Remove the pan and glaze each carrot with maple syrup.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the syrup caramelizes.
