Description

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 21 oz can of lemon pie filling or homemade equivalent


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl; whisk to combine.
  3. Add the buttermilk, vanilla, and lemon extract, and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish without stirring.
