A delicious and comforting pizza casserole made without the crust, perfect for low carb diets.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce (low carb)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onions and bell peppers. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Grease your baking dish and spread half of the meat mixture in the bottom.
- Add half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the pepperoni on top.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining meat mixture, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.
- Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Feel free to customize the veggies based on your family’s preferences. You can also experiment with different low carb marinara sauces for added flavor.
