Ingredients

- 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 4 strips beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) green onions, finely chopped (about 25 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (about 5 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (about 5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (about 1.5 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) cream cheese, softened (about 225 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) crushed tortilla chips or breadcrumbs for coating (about 100 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the ranch dressing and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped jalapeños, crumbled beef bacon, and chopped green onions.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the mixture.
- Mix in the softened cream cheese until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 to 2 inches in diameter.
- Pour the crushed tortilla chips or breadcrumbs into a shallow dish.
