Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce (15 milliliters)
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (115 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cooked beef bacon, crumbled (75 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped pickles (40 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise (60 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) mustard (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) ketchup (15 milliliters)
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (about 16 ounce (454 g) s or 450 grams)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Season the beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let the beef mixture cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled beef mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped pickles.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup.
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the dough into individual biscuits.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.
- Add a dollop of the mayonnaise mixture on top of the beef mixture.
- Fold the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching to seal tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place the stuffed dough balls into the hot oil, a few at a time.
- Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Brush the tops of the donut bombs with beaten egg.
- Transfer the donut bombs to a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes to ensure the dough is fully cooked.
