Description

Healthy and satisfying twist on classic burgers, using lettuce wraps instead of buns.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Iceberg lettuce leaves (or any lettuce of your choice)
  • Burger toppings of your choice (e.g., tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, cheese slices, avocado slices)

Instructions

  1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  2. Divide the seasoned beef into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the burger patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves, then use them as wraps for your burgers.
  6. Place a cooked burger patty on each lettuce leaf and add your favorite toppings.
  7. Carefully fold the lettuce leaves around the burger patties to form wraps. Secure with toothpicks if needed, then serve immediately.

Notes

Consider prepping burger patties the night before for enhanced flavor. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
