  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and then whisk in the sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing well.
