Description

Delicious and healthy baked turkey meatballs that are easy to prepare and perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 3-4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, parsley, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gently mix with your hands until just combined.
  2. Using a medium cookie scoop or spoon, portion the mixture and roll into 1 ½-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray. If using a wire rack, place meatballs on it before baking.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  5. For skillet cooking, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute almond flour for breadcrumbs. Adjust egg ratio for desired texture.
