Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 3-4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, parsley, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gently mix with your hands until just combined.
- Using a medium cookie scoop or spoon, portion the mixture and roll into 1 ½-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray. If using a wire rack, place meatballs on it before baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- For skillet cooking, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute almond flour for breadcrumbs. Adjust egg ratio for desired texture.
