Delightful bites of angel food cake coated in cinnamon-sugar, served with rich chocolate sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 package angel food cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Chocolate sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Prepare the angel food cake mix according to package instructions and bake. Let it cool, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a shallow dish, mix sugar and cinnamon together.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot.
- Fry the angel food cake bites until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the warm bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve with chocolate sauce for dipping. Enjoy!

For better adherence of the cinnamon-sugar coating, toss the warm bites immediately after frying.
