Delicious turkey burgers stuffed with creamy jalapeño filling for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh jalapeños, diced
- Cooked bacon, for topping
- Lettuce wraps, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños.
- Form the turkey mixture into patties.
- Make an indentation in the center of each patty and stuff with the cheese and jalapeño mixture, sealing the edges.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the turkey burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Top with crispy bacon and serve on lettuce wraps.
Notes
Allow the ground turkey to come to room temperature before cooking for even results. Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavors.
