Ingredients
- 2 cups rice, soaked and drained
- 1/2 cup water
- 14 oz coconut milk (1¾ cups)
- 1 tbsp sugar (granulated)
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- Sesame seeds (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Add the soaked and drained rice into the Instant Pot.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of water and 14 oz of coconut milk.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of kosher salt over the mixture.
- Stir the ingredients to combine them well.
- Close the lid securely, ensuring the pressure valve is set to sealing.
- Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick pressure release by turning the valve to venting.
- Carefully open the lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
