Description

Learn how to make a delicious and easy Honey Garlic Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-fry that’s perfect for a quick and flavorful weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced) – 15 g
  • 240 ml chopped white onion
  • 450 g lean ground beef
  • 710 ml broccoli florets (chopped small)
  • 240 ml honey garlic sauce
  • 950 ml cooked rice – to serve with

Instructions

  1. Warm a skillet over medium heat. Introduce 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes see-through, approximately 1-2 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the ground beef into the pan. Break it up and cook until it loses its pink color, taking about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets and combine them with the beef. Cook until the broccoli is slightly softened but still has a bit of crunch, around 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the mixture and stir well. Let it heat through for another 1-2 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  5. Place the rice into bowls and top with the beef and broccoli mixture. Serve and savor!

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or chicken instead of lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • Add bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and nutrients.
  • Adjust the honey garlic sauce amount to your taste preference for a saucier dish.
