Description

A refreshing summer beverage made with ripe peaches and freshly squeezed lemons, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and mix well.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Use the ripest peaches for maximum flavor and adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
