Description

Delightful homemade churro bites filled with rich Nutella, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nutella (for filling)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms.
  3. Let cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Pipe dough into the hot oil in 2-inch pieces, frying until golden brown.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, then roll the churro bites in the mixture.
  8. Fill each churro bite with Nutella using a piping bag.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Let the dough cool slightly before adding eggs to prevent cooking. Serve with extra Nutella for dipping.
