Description
A healthy, high-protein twist on classic banana bread, combining rich flavors with the nutritional benefits of protein powder and almond flour.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 cup almond flour (gluten-free)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, baking soda, salt, maple syrup or honey (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
For best flavor, use very ripe bananas. Optionally, garnish slices with nut butter or yogurt when serving.
