Description

A healthy, high-protein twist on classic banana bread, combining rich flavors with the nutritional benefits of protein powder and almond flour.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup almond flour (gluten-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, baking soda, salt, maple syrup or honey (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, if desired.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

For best flavor, use very ripe bananas. Optionally, garnish slices with nut butter or yogurt when serving.
