Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Store muffins in an airtight container.
