Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
