Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Toss in sliced kielbasa and cook until golden-brown.
- Add diced potatoes and pour in chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
- Once simmering, reduce heat and cook until potatoes are tender (15-20 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped chives before serving hot.
Notes
For added flavor, use homemade chicken broth. Mash some potatoes while cooking to enhance creaminess.
