Description

A warm and comforting soup made with kielbasa, potatoes, and creamy broth, perfect for chilly days.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Toss in sliced kielbasa and cook until golden-brown.
  4. Add diced potatoes and pour in chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
  5. Once simmering, reduce heat and cook until potatoes are tender (15-20 minutes).
  6. Stir in heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives before serving hot.

Notes

For added flavor, use homemade chicken broth. Mash some potatoes while cooking to enhance creaminess.
