Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey, lean
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, for cooking
- Burger buns, for serving
- Lettuce and tomato, for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties that are about 3/4 inch thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve on burger buns with your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and other preferred condiments.
Notes
Don’t overwork the mixture to maintain patty tenderness. Let the patties rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain juices.
