Description
Warm and comforting Zuppa Toscana Soup made easily in a slow cooker, combining Italian sausage, hearty potatoes, and nutritious kale.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large potatoes, sliced
- 2 cups kale, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, add the Italian sausage, onion, and garlic.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the sliced potatoes.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the kale and heavy cream.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes as desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
