Ingredients
- 1 pound ground venison
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or a healthy alternative)
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheddar cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground venison over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the beef broth and cream of mushroom soup, mixing until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
