Description

A nutritious and indulgent healthy banana bread recipe using ripe bananas, whole wheat flour, and Greek yogurt.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing. Enjoy as a snack or breakfast!
