Description

Juicy and flavorful turkey meatballs enhanced with the unique sweetness of apple cider, making them a healthier alternative to traditional meatballs.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for browning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, apple cider, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well incorporated.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy the delightful flavors.

Notes

Using fresh ingredients and not skipping the browning step enhances flavor and texture. Adjust seasonings to suit your taste.
