Description

Delicious turkey meatballs infused with the sweet notes of apple cider, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, apple cider, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs of your desired size and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle the meatballs lightly with olive oil to enhance browning and flavor.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added moisture, allow the mixture to rest for 10-15 minutes before shaping into meatballs. Adjust apple cider quantity if meatballs are dry.
