Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons erythritol or sweetener of choice
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and erythritol.
- In another bowl, mix the applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually combine the wet and dry mixtures until a cohesive dough forms.
- Shape the dough into small bites, approximately the size of a small ball.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with coconut oil and arrange churro bites in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar or your favorite dipping sauce.
