Description

Deliciously crispy and healthy churro bites made in an air fryer, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the guilt.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons erythritol or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and erythritol.
  3. In another bowl, mix the applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Gradually combine the wet and dry mixtures until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into small bites, approximately the size of a small ball.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with coconut oil and arrange churro bites in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
